Proprietor Ed Brady, who opened the plant here in 1947, has announced a 'three for the price of two" special to mark the occasion. Active in community affairs, Mr, Brady has served four years on town council and is a, past president of Exeter Lions Club, He served as chairman of the arena board for a number of years. By GORDON MORLEY BRINSLEY A young Parkhill couple and infant son and two other occu- pants, escaped injury when their eastbound car became in- volved in a rear end collision with a Volkswagen car also driven by a Parkhill district youth, The driver of the small foreign car was just proceeding east after being stopped at Trevithick's general store on the intersection. Hugh Mills, of Parkhill, in- vestigated the accident but laid no charges at the time due to slippery road conditions which made driving hazardous. Extensive damage was done to the Volkswagen car which was also ditched in the impact. Personal Mr. Rayburn Steeper has been employed by Mr. Otto Darling at logging.
