to establish .a dry cleaning plant in Exeter, celebrates
its fifteenth anniversary this month.
Proprietor Ed Brady, who opened the plant here
in 1947, has announced a 'three for the price of two"
special to mark the occasion.
After serving eight years in a London cleaning
plant, Mr. Brady secured the Sanitone fra'nehise for
Exeter .area and erected his plant at its present location
ou Main St. It has since been altered several times to
provide for expansion and provision of new services,
The firm now ..offers a self-serve coin-operated
laundry department in addition to complete dry clean-
ing and laundry services.
Active in community affairs, Mr, Brady has served
four years on town council and is a, past president of
Exeter Lions Club, He served as chairman of the arena
board for a number of years.

A young Parkhill couple and
infant son and two other occu-
pants, escaped injury when
their eastbound car became in-
volved in a rear end collision
with a Volkswagen car also
driven by a Parkhill district
youth,
The driver of the small
foreign car was just proceeding
east after being stopped at
Trevithick's general store on
the intersection.
Hugh Mills, of Parkhill, in-
vestigated the accident but
laid no charges at the time due
to slippery road conditions
which made driving hazardous.
Extensive damage was done
to the Volkswagen car which
was also ditched in the impact.
