minster Hospital, London on
Friday, January 12 of Wilbert
Roy Parker of Chiselhurst in
his 68th year. He was admitted
ta the hospital a week previous,
He was born in Hay township
and resided in Chiselhurst some
50 years. He served overseas
with the 161st Battalion in
World War 1, was a member
Of Hensel], Legion Branch 468
and a member of Chiselhurst
United Church,
He was unmarried. Surviving
are one brother, Gordon, Exe-
ter; his stepmother, Mrs. Emily
Parker, liensall; a half-sister,
Mrs. Edgar Cudmore. RR 1
Hensall; three half-brothers.
Harold Parker, Hensall; Robert
Keyes, Grand Bend, and Rus-
sell Keyes, Mitchell. A brother,
William Parker of Hensel!, pre-
deceased him January 7, 1961,

The death occurred at Situ-
goon Afeniorial .Hospital, South-
ampton on Thursday, of Jean
Jamieson, widow of the late
William Charters, and a life-
long resident of Brucefield and
Tuckersmith, following a brief
illness while visiting with her
sister in Tara.
in her 90th year Airs. Char-
ters was the mother of (Jessie)
Airs. Rex Thompson, Battle
Creek, Mich,, and Pearson of
Tuckersmith. Also surviving
are three sisters, Airs. Malcolm
Armstrong (Florence) of Tara,
Airs. John J, Corry (Margaret)
of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. W.
E. Adams (Rachel) of Los
Angeles, California, and four
grandchildren.
She was a member of St.
Andrew's United ChUrch, Kip-
pen.
The body rested at the G
A. Whitney Funeral Home,
Seaforth until Saturday after-
noon when funeral services
were•conducted by Rev. H,
Johnstop with temporary en-
tombment in the Ritz Memorial
Mausoleum, Mitchell with bur-
ial to be in Maitland Bank
cemetery.
The pallbearers were Jack

Ross Chapman, Wilson McCart-
ney, Wilbur Keyes and Alex
Boyes. Flower bearers were
Malcolm Armstrong, Robert

St. Catharines, with burial at
St, Catharines cemetery on
Monday, Jan. 15.

days were few and that he was
determined to complete his
work or, at least, to put Med-
ico's house in utter before his
time ran out
During his last 15 months
Toni Dooley moved so fast and
touched so many places that
few people were close to him
for any length of time. After
his death the story of his last
days were pieced together
from people who were with
him at various times and
places—people from Maine to
California and from Southeast
Asia to India and Afghanistan.
These people responded gen-
erously and. so we have this
book as a' tribute to his sincer-
ity and dedication.
