Hugh Wilson officiating.
The bride wore a street -
length dress of egg -shell bro-
caded satin with beige acces-
sories. She wore a string of
Marvella pearls and matching
earrings, a gift of the groom.
Yellow roses and mums formed
the bride's bouquet.
She was attended by her sis-
fer. Miss Jean Coward. in a
rose brocaded satin sheath with
phew
beige accessdre, and pearl and
crystal necklace and earrings,
the gift of the bride and groom.
She carried gold mums and
yellow roses.

Towne and Country Restaurant,
Exeter where the bride's moth-
er received guests in a Baltic
blue dress with black acces-

For travelling in Northern
Michigan the bride changed to
a teal blue suit with black ac-
cessories.
The couple will make their
home in Exeter.

wood, 'Woodstock, London, Exe-
ter, Mitchell and Crediton.

Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown
of re-embriodered Alencon lace
with a flattering, open neck-
line of scalloped lace. From
the bodice, la ee medallions ex-
tended down each side of the
bell-sha ped born bazine skirt
which was topped by a draped
cummerbund caught up with
s in a 11 re -embroidered lace
edalliens. h e detachable
chapel train was also nutlined
with the lace medallions. She
carried a white Bible crested
with white Orchids surrounded
by red rosebuds end white
stephanotis.

ed Church 'Thursday afternoon
reported on the meeting of the
provisional committee in re-
gard to the new organization
"The Vnited Church Women"
to he launched January 2, 1962.
Questionnaires were present-
ed to each of the members
giving them a chance to have
a say in the forming of the
groups and the times of meet-
ing. Nominations were made
for the executive of the new
group.
Mrs. Warren Brock gave a
talk with the theme "ThanIdul-
ness-. She said "In our new
organization we must look to
the future for greater achieve -
merits and remember each
woman has a definite place in
it." Mrs. William Amerongen
favored with a solo,
A brief memorial service for
two recently deceased mem-
tiers, Mrs. B. ;11. Francis and
Mrs. F. Coates, was conducted
by Mrs. C. E. Zurbrigg.
The worship service was led
by Mrs. Zurbrigg assisted, by
Mrs. Coward and Mrs. W.
Shapton.
Mrs. Brock and Mrs. Zur-
brigg were namededelegates to
the WelS and WA sectional
meeting in Whalen church, Oc-
tober 23. An invitation was ex-
tended by the WA to attend
its meeting November 2 at 3
p.m.

hears fire chief
The Protestant Ladies Chapel
Guild of RCAF Station, Cen-
tralia, held its meeting Tues-
day evening, October 17 in the
new Protestant chapel with 40
members attending.
A film and talk in keeping
with Fire Prevention Week was
given by FS Haggart, fire chief
of the station,
