letter
To Hensall citizens,
With all the advertisement's,
lately on radio, TV and news-.
papers to support the "United
Appeal" in different commu-
nitres, I'm sure we are ,all a-
' ware of what our community
is, its responsibilities and the
numerous organizations that
try to make it a better place
to live.
We, in the .Hensall Kinsmen
Club, like to feel we have made
a small contribution to this
end.
Last year a total of $1600
anespent in your community,
including a school bursary,.
contributions to charities with-
in the community, the aged and
shutins, families less fortunate
than we are, Scouts and Cubs,
and Hallowe'en party for the
children.
About half o" it went for
minor hockey. The minor hock-
ey program also entails a total
of between 32 and 40 man hours
a week to operate. This the,
Kinsmen members can look
after but for the financial end
we must have the support of
the community..
With your continued good
support we feel we can look
forward to evengreater serv-
