United Church WA met Sep-
tember 13 with Mrs. W. D.
Mack taking the opening devo-
tions,
The new study books, "Has-
ten the Day" and "Signals for
the Sixties" were introduced
by Mrs. G. Hill and a chapter
of the latter book was dis-
cussed.
Mrs. Russel Finkbciner pre-
sided for the business. A bale
valued at $13.0.00 had been for-
warded to Toronto for overseas
supply. An interesting letter
from Miss Morison in India,
missionary for prayer, was
read by Mrs. Melvin King.
It was decided to have a
bazaar in the community cen-
tre November 4.
Mrs, Tiffin of Wingham is to
attend the meeting October 11
to conduct a panel to explain
the new women's organization
of the United Church. Ladies of
Main Street, Exeter, and Ship-
ka will be invited to this
meeting.
