unheard of, he said.
Three sections
The new 154 -room wing al-
lows the segregation of resi
'
dents into three sections, pro-
viding separate facilities for
resident's requiring normal
care, the 118 residents who re-
quire bed care and 30 residents
who require special care.

Huron were brought by Ivan

As chairman, Mr. Adair paid;
tribute to the Lions Clubs in
Huron County who presented
the home with a pillow -speak-
er system which makes it pos-
sible for bedpatients to listen
to the church service from the
chapel and entertainment from
the auditorium.
Harvey Johnston, home su-
perintendent, was presented
with the key to the new wing
by Gordon Glover, of the No-
lam and Glover architectural
firm, London, and Robert Ful-
ler of the Con -Eng Contractors
Ltd., London. The Hon. Mr.
Cecile paid tribute to Mr.
Johnston and his wife, term-
ing them as people `dedicated
to their work.'
Tribute was also paid to the
late A. Harvey Erskine, for-
merly of Goderich, who was
county clerk treasurer at the
time of the building's initial
planning.
He thanked the ladies auxil-
iary of the home who, led by
Mrs. Fred G. Thompson of Clin-
ton, as president, has provided
comfort and entertainment for
the residents.
Following the ceremonies, a
public tour was made of the
new wing,
Earlier this year, the origi-
nal building of 1895 was de-
riolished. The home now pro-
vides for a total of 240 resi-
dents. A 65 -bed addition to the
old home was opened in 1954
at a cost of $500,000.

dies in. hospital
Mrs. Theodore Rader, the
former Tusnelda Laving. Truem-
ner, 66,died at South Huron
Hospita, Exeter, Wednesday,.

Besides her husband she is
survived by one daughter, Mrs.
Edward (Margaret) Horman of
Woodstock; two sons, Harold of
Ilay Twp. and Lorne of Zurich;
one sister and two brothers,
Mrs. Milne Rader, Zurich, Ar-
thur T'reumneer of Toronto and
Whitney Brolcenshire of Zurich
and ten grandchildren,
The body rested at the '1'.
Harry Hoffman until Friday
noon, then at Zion Lutheran
Church where services were
conducted by Rev. Wm. Getz.
Interment was made in Dash-
wood Evangelical UB cemetery,
