Mr. Langford, brother of H. Ca B. Langford of Luean and C. F. Langford of the Forest Hill teaching staff, was born in Lu - can, where he attended the Lu - can Public and High School, He served with the Royal Flying Corps in England be- fore attending the Faculty of Education in Toronto and later Queen's University for his MA in English and History after teaching three years in Pres- cott and Lucan. He went from Sudbury to Sir Adam Beck in 1931 where he has remained for the past 30 years. In addition to teaching, Mr.. Langford found time to edit many text books in English; now in use throughout the ominion, also eight plays in he Swan Shakespeare series.'
