Hensall United Church was
the setting for a mid -summer
wedding, Saturday, June 3 at
2:30 p,m., when Gwendolyn El-
lis Chapman of London and
Donald Roy MacLaren, of
Cooksville exchanged marriage
vows in a double -ring cere-
mony before the Rev. Currie
Winlaw.
• The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs, W. L. Chapman,
RR 1 Exeter, and the groom is
the son of Mrs. Archie Mac-
Gregor, Hensall and Mr. Roy
MacLaren, London.
Wedding music was played
by Miss Greta Lammie, who
accompanied the soloist, Miss
Min Koehler, Dashwood, who

Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was lovely in
floor length gown of peau de
faille, lavishly appliqued with
alencon lace from the shallow
scooped neckline finished in
scalloped edging down the
front princess panelat the
back. The dropped basque
bodice gave way to a very full
pale blue shantung ensemble
with white accessories and cor-
sage of red roses. The groom's
mother chose a two-piece blue
brocaded satin with white ac-
cessories and corsage of pink
roses.
