Ladies' Bowling League, with
the help of magician Roy
Head, London, provided their
own entertainment at their an-
nual banquet Wednesday night
at the Legion hall.
Decked out in assorted masks,
quacking like ducks and taking
part in skits, the 'gals provided
lots of laughs under Mr. Head's
directioe. Participants included
President Val Gould, Verna
Stagg, Louise Reeloison, Marg
Jory, Barbara Gifford, Marion
Sherman, Claudette Sweitzer
and Judy Kieswetter,
Nearly 200 'attended the ban-
quet, dining in candelight to
the accompaniment of dinner
music.

the presentation of trophies
and awards to the champion-
ship teams and the individual
winners, Members of the exec -

Exeter Lawn Bowling Club
had an excellent turnout for its
jitney Tuesday night, won by
Art Cann and Mrs. Walter
Westbrook.
President Ross Taylor and
Alf Andrews captured second
and third prize went to Ray
Smith and Len McKnight.
A large number of ladies
were present. The club plans
to stage jitneys every Tuesday
and Saturday nights.
