The Butchers gained the final
round last week when they
•stopped the Bankntonts in the
semi-final round. Enberting the
Recons round of the genii -finals
the Butchers needed only one
roint to send them into the
final. They started their wort:
early, taking the first game
with a 52 -pin margin.
Fred Wells sparked the win
with a '209.
The A & Il Specials gained
the final round with a bye,
after finishing in first place
among the five teams in the
Consolation round.

Joe Gunn's Kingpins took a
4.2 lead over the Kippen Tigers
in the first half, of the "B"
group final in the Exeter Men's
Bowling League, Monday.
The two teams finished the
playoff Wednesday (last night).
The winners started out in
•nigh gear and; threatened to
make a run -away of the five -
game battle, winning the first
three games. However, the
,Tigers came back to salvage
the final two contests and cut
the pinfa]I lead to 161. ,
Gerd Bjerky was top man. on
the Kingpins, tossing a neat
13 to spark his team. Gerd
ss headed the Tigers' output

Cooper's 895.

Sideline Canners
The Tigers had little trouble
gaining the final round, as they
easily stopped the Canners with
a 4.0 shut -out in the second
match after winning the first

Bob Simpson was once again
