Protect Your Children
RABIES
Federal government authorities continue to
warn us about the threat of rabies in our community,
They advise that this menace will remain with us
for perhaps another year,
In view of this, we (dish to' remind you of
the Town Bylaw which prohibits residents from
allowing their dogs to run at large. This measure
Was taken, you will recall, to protect our children
(and adults, too).
Your Police Department has been instructed
to continue to pick up dogs at large and to impound
then in the clinic of Dr. R. F. Roelofson. Owners
are required to pdy the expenses (minimum $5.00)
to reclaim their dogs.
*'We request your co-operation. Keep your dog
tied up to prevent further spread of rabies.
