On Thursday, December 3, the
Lions of Grand Bend were hosts
to their district governor, Lion
Harold Forster from Barrie.

first Lions Club was chartered
in India for example, with 23
members. Today, India is proud
to boast of 54 clubs with a
membership of over 3,000 mem-
bers.
One of the first major projects
of Lions in India was to provide
a glas sof milk per dayfor 20
children. Today this project has
reached such proportion, that
42,000 children receive a glass
of milk in 34 cities.
Lion Harold was pleased to
install four new members into
the Grand Bend Club as well as
presenting attendance wards to
20 members.
New members installed were
Lions Fr ed Negryn, Harold
Steinhoff, Doug Shepherd and
Bruce Thompson.
Perfect attendance awards
were presented as follows: nine
years, Lions Campbell Chapman,
Ross Desjardine, Wally Desjar-
