goals of the .season, Lucan-Ilder-
ton Combines dealt Forest Lake -
sides an 8-6 setback in Forest
Monday night.
The victory gave the Combines
their third straight win of the
campaign after dropping their
first two outings.
Other marksmen for the win-
ners included Stu O'Neil with
two, Pete Findley, Don Fletcher
and Steve Storey with one each.
Forest's Pete Bentley found the
range twice while Glen Forbes,
Angus Kelly, Marvin McGregor
and Art Norland added singles.
The game was a little on the
wierd side• as nine goals were
scored in the first period and
only one in the second. The two
clubs finalized their spree with
two each in the third.
Art Norland of Forest and Al
Lortie of the L -I Combines
squared off in the late stages
of the third period to pick up
majors for fighting. At the 12:25
mark of the same stanza, Stu
O'Neil was nicked fora 10 min-
ute misconduct.
