Kinsmen adopt
team contest .
A new, gimmick for developing
interest in voluntary service or-
ganizations was adopted by Exe-
ter Kinsmen Thursday night.
It's a contest in which club
members are divided into teams
of five for competition in at-
tendance, effort, securing new
members and taking part in dis-
trict functions.
High scoring team in the club
wins a prize, still undetermined,
and gets a chance to compete
for the national award which in-
cludes an expense -paid trip to
the annual convention.
Registrar Art Clarke is in
charge of the new system for
the Exeter club.
Reports on two recent projects
—world series pool and the har-
vest jamboree—revealed total
proceeds exceeding $1,100. The
club has launched another sports
raffle, this time on the Grey Cup
