powers .contained in the Muni-
cipal Act, R.S.O., 1950, Chapter
243 Section 469, the Council of
every Municipality may pass
By-laws for stopping up all or
part of any highway within the
limits of the Corporation;

on the 11th day of November,
1959, and that said notice
shall contain notice of time
and place at which the Coun-
cil shall hear any person, or
by his counsel, solicitor, or
agent, any person who claims
that his land may be `pre-
judicially affected by the said
by-law.
3. That before the said by-law
comes into force and takes
effect, notice of the passing
of the said by-law shall be
posted in six of the most pub-
lic places in the immediate
neighbourhood of the afore-
