Considerable interest was ta-
ken in the hobby display of bri-
dal accessories shown at the
Exeter Fair on Wednesday and
Thursday last week by Tars, Ha-
rold Simpson, Willranl St.
Many viewers. Thought .the shoes
on display were dyed to match
the dresses of the bridal attend-
ants gild wandered just how they
Were matched so perfectly, Ac-

with. the same material as the
dress. If the (material is heavy
in weight like peau -de sole only

thin, like a tricot, an underlin-
ing of taffeta is used.

easier than others. Again the
lift of the heel has to be loosened
to allow the material to be `

into the membership, Four new

were received and approved,
the initiations to be held at the
October meeting,
Several members volunteered
to serve lunch to the Senior Cj-
tizens at their meeting on Octo-
ber 6. A donation of $25 was
voted to the Girl Guides and a
$10 donation to the Veteran's
' Tubercular Camp Fund,
Sixty-five dollars was collected
on Saturday, September 12, Na.
vy League Tag- Tay. Volunteers
from the auxiliary assisted by
members of the Girl Guides
conducted the canvass. •
The eighth birthday of the
auxiliary will be celebrated with
a social evening on October 10,
Five district auxiliaries have
not attempt to do it.
