Former resident •dies
Joseph Eisenhoffer, a former
resident of Hensall, died in
Kitchener last week.
He was a resident of Hensall
for 13 years before moving to
Kitchener 37 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Anna Tolland, of Zurich,
one son, Jacob, of Kitchener,
and one daughter, Arlegio (Mrs.
Wilson), J. P, H hlson), 7.'oronto.

Fete celebrants
at first reunion
The farm home of Mrs. Harry
Caldwell in Tuckersmitih, was
the setting over the weekend for
the first Caldwell reunion, when
some 50 members of the clan
assembled to enjoy a program
of sports directed by Mrs. klarrY
Caldwell, Mrs. William Cald-
well and Mrs. Verne Alderdice,
and to honor Mr. and Mrs. R. H.
Sproat of Seaforth, who on. Tues-
day, August 18 celebrated their
golden wedding anniversary.
The Toast to all present espe-
cially Mr. and Mfrs. Sproat was
proposed by Mr. Harvey Taylor,
of J3rucefield,
Mr, and Mrs, Sproat; received.
at their home in Seaforth. Tues-
day afternoon and evening of this
week and were showered with
gifts and congratulatory mes-
sages,
Mfrs. Sproat., the former Ethel
Caldwell, formerly lived in the
Hensall district, and her hus-
band is a retired Seaforth busi-
nessman.

Robin McAllister
prominent farmer
Robert (Robin) McAllister,
prominent farmer of Stanley
Township, died suddenly in his
65th year at his .home on Thurs-
day evening following a stroke.
Mr. McAllister hacl attended the
Hensall Sales that same after-
noon in Hensall and seemed in
the hest of health and spirits.
Mr, McAllister had spent his
entire life in this community
being born on the Parr Line,
Hay Township, April 6, 1895 and
lived there until 1920 when he
moved. to his present home. in
Stanley Township.
He was a life-long member
of the former Hillsgreen United
church where he served on the I
