turned Saturday from a motor
trip to Moose Jaw, Regina and
Weyburn, Sask.
During their visit, Mr. Mof-
fatt's cousin, Mr, Jack Moffatt,
officially opened his new tele-
vision station, CHAR TV in
Moose Jaw,
Mr. Jack Moffatt, is a son of
Mr. Lorne Moffatt, now of
Regina, who farmed near Kip -
pen, He moved to the west with
his parents as a small boy.
Mr. Eldred Moffatt is a son
of Mr. and Mrs, D. A. Moffatt,
of Kippen.

Mr. Harvey Damm, of Walker-
ton, andformerly of Kippen•
who married recently, returned

Mrs. P'. Dymond, the rectory,
Kirkton, was hostess on Wednes-
day afternoon to the ladies of
St. Patrick's WA and. Guild.
There were 14 ladies present,
The WA president, Mrs. H. Da-
vis, was in charge of devotions.
Plans were made for a Sunday
School picnic to be held at Ri-
verview Park, Exeter, on July
19 at 12:30 o'clock.
Mrs. Maurice McDonald in-
vited the ladies to the cottage,
Grand Bend, on August 18 for a
picnic dinner.
Correspondence was read in-
cluding an invitation to Kirkton,
St. Paul's church on Thursday
l evening and a letter from. CFPL-
TV regarding a fall tour of the
station.
Mrs. Ron Carroll conducted a
contest, which was won by Mrs.
Tom Kooy and Mrs, Kooy con-
ducted a second contest wort by
Mrs. Maurice McDonald. Mrs.

for the mystery contest won by
