was a number of choruses, duets,
dances, accordion and guitar se-
lections -- a sample of the pro-
gram presented at the music
festival, with Miss Bette Leake
at the piano and Carolyn Donald-
son announcing the numbers.
It was reported $10 had been
given the school towards prizes
for Field Day, June 19.
Mrs. Cobleigh"s room won the
attendance cup but Mr. J. Des
Jardine's was the year's winner,
having won it three months and
tying for another month.

nee Shirley Gallimore, of Farm-
ington, Mich., were guests of

Mrs. F. Taylor
dies in Michigan
Mrs. Freeman Taylor, 79, of
Marlette, Mich., died suddenly
Sunday, May 24 while visiting
ber daughter in Detroit.
Funeral services were held
last Thursday at Marlette, with
interment in Marlette cemetery.
Her husband predeceased her
about 10 years ago. She is sur-
vived by two sons, Stuart and
Leonard of Marlette and one
daughter Mrs. Dan Daniels of
Detroit.
Mrs. Taylor, the former Lu-
cinda Morgan, was the daugh-
ter of the late Mr, and Mrs.
