the graduation exercise for Vic-
toria Hospital .School of Nursing
in London last Thursday when
Miss Elva Young was among
the graduates.
A reception was held at the
home of her parents on Main
St. north during the evening..
Mr. Jack 'Young (Elva's ,broth-
er) who graduated from Acadia
University, Wolfville, N.S., May
19, arrived home Thursday eve-
ning, too late for the graduation
but in time for the reception.

The Lucan-Ciandeboye AYPA
met in the parish hall last Sun
day evening with the president,

of the meeting was given over to
the making of plans for the
postponed rummage sale now
scheduled for Saturday, June 6

pleted lier ensemble, Mrs. Do-
reen Dzuba and Miss Betty Lo-
gan of Cooksville and Airs. Do-
rothy Thompson, Richmond Hill,
twin sister of the groom as
bridesmaids were gowned in
blue, identieally to the
maid of honor, and carried bou-
quets of white and blue.
