The Exeter Chapter, Order of
the Eastern Star, held their
annual church service on Sunday
evening in the Goshen United
Church,
Special music was rendered by
the choir, with Mrs, Ronald
Squire, Granton, as soloist, Miss
Doris Johnston, Clinton, also
played selections on the marimba.
Following the service, conduct-
ed by Rev. T. J. Pitt, members
and families gathered at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Mc-
Kinley for lunch.

The Woman's Missionary So-
ciety of Goshen united Church
met at the parsonage last Thurs-
day evening for the May meeting.
Scripture and comments were by
Mrs. Roy McBride.
The topic on Mexico was taken ,

and other states. She was a
woman with a deep willingness
to help others. She loved people
and she had a deep concern for
them. She gave of herself in car-
ing for her mother,
She leaves two sister, Mrs.1

W. Russell, Cleveland; one broth-
er Arthur M. Holtzman, Roches -I
ter, New York.
Interment was in Kneliwood 1
cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio. 1

Miss Pearl Holtzman, daugh-
ter of the ]ate Jacob Henry and
Ell en WI oelock Holtzman died
May 19 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born in Crediton, Jan-
uary 1, 1889: It was her she
became a member of the Zion
