Dame fortune continued to smile on Mrs. Pat Crudge and zeir. H. B. Langford, the former -not only won Share the Wealth but also shared in another bingo. Mr. Langford, who specializes on' the jack -pot consolation, again won the $5. The jack -pot next 'week will be $80 in 57 calls, The consecutive bingo was won by Mr, Louis Lemieux, Mrs, G. Illridge and euchre it The Woman's Auxiliary of Holy Trinity church held a Desert 13ridge and Euchre in the parish hall last Wednesday afternoon. London church scene of vows i St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church, London, was the setting at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, ' when Msgr. W. T. Flannery united in marriage, Marie Cath- • arine Lobban and Harold Fran- cis Ryan, The bride is the daugh- ter of Mr, and Mr. Alex V. Lob - ban of RR 2 Wilton Grove and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ryan, RR 3 Lucan. The bride chose a floor -length gown of chantilly lace and nylon tulle featuring a fitted bodice, lily -point sleeves and a sabrina neck-line. Her aisle -wide nylon tulle skirt was designed with a double flounce of chantilly lace ' descending to twin panels in the back. A tiara of iridescent se- quins held her French illusion veil and she carried a bouquet of red roses and ivy. Bridal attendants were Miss Helen Brown of Wilton Grove and Miss Mary Marvell of Lon- don, They were dressed alike in ballerina-Iength gowns of blue organza, over taffeta. Darlene Ryan was flower girl and Pat- rick Ryan ringbearer. Jack Ryan of London was groomsman for his brother and Eugene Lobban, brother of the bride, and James Ryan, brother of the groom, were ushers. After refreshments at Hook's restaurant a reception was held at the home ofthe bride's par- ents, RR 2 Wilton Grove. For travelling the bride changed to a three-piece sea foam green suit with beige and brown accessories and a cor- sage of bronze roses. The couple will make their home in London. Milk foundation • The Lucan Home and School Association sponsored a milk foundation demonstration at the school last Tuesday evening. Evening Aim' li a ry The Evening Auxiliary of the United Church met in the church schoolroom last Tuesday night with the president, Mrs. A. E. Redly, in the chair, and Mrs. Dave Park's group in charge of the program and refreshments. Mrs. J. W. Lockyer took the worship service and was assisted by Mrs. Howard Kew and Mrs. A. Walker. The study book chapter on Alaska was taken by Mrs. Dave Park. Mrs, Ivan Hearn read missionary letters from Miss Cossman and Miss Elsie Bunner.
