ing League for the 1959 campaign. Presented with silver-
ware were, left to. right, Mrs yl p Ruth Calberry, of
the "B" group,w'inners; Mrs, A, Dodd, captain of the "A"
group winners; Mrs. A. L, Thomson, high average win-
ner; Mrs. M, Marsden, high single winner, and Mrs. E.
Riley, captain for the plaque championship team. Miss-
ing from the picture is Mrs. J. Bonner who copped the
high'triple award. The bowling banquet is an annual event
at RCAF Centralia.

St. James Church
The Rev. ,T. P. Pres, observed
traditional Rogation. Sunday with
the blessings of grain and. corn.
There are historical references
showing that Rogation Sunday
was observed in 467 A.D. and
there are several references in
the sixth century.
Plans are, being evolved for a
special service at St. James
church on Sunday, May 31, The
chancel is to have some new
plaster put on before the electric
organ can be installed before
that date.

The April meeting of the WA
and Guild of St. James church
was held at the home of Mrs.
Karl O'Neil.
President Mrs. Andy Carter
presided for the WA part: of the
meeting and was assisted in the
