April 16 to April 23, 1959
In recognition of the decision of Canadian Canners Ltd. to re -open Plant No. 100 at Exeter for the 1959 season, -
In view of the substantial benefit which the operation of this plant provides for all the municipalities of this •
community, a:
In the hope that this company will continue to recognize our outstanding agricultural district and the ability of our
farm people to produce quality products,
We., the undersigned Chief. Magistratesof six municipalities, do hereby proclaim, on behalf of our respective
councils, the week of April 16 to April 23, 1959, as "Aylmer Appreciation Week" and we urge all of our citizens to observe
it by their whole -hearted support of this local industry in the purchase of its quality products under the brand name
"Aylmer.

We, the members of the Huron County Can Crop Growers' Association, heartily endorse the proclamation
issued by our respective communities and we assure Canadian Canners Ltd. of our continued co-operation in growing the
high quality vegetables for which the name ",Aylmer" is famous.
We also wish to express our appreciation to the officials of our 'communities who have co-operated with the
company in providing for the re -opening of our local plant.
