The picture, taken by Mrs. Shapton, makes good use of the toy as a centre of interest, the judges. stated, This picture will be eligible for monthly cash prize as well as grand prize of the contest. All other snapshots, and any new ones submitted, are eligible to win future cornpetitions, which run for the next three months, $90,000,000 not was a typographical .error! but the ,Exeter Lions Club has raised .approximately $100;000:00 gross in the past twenty years. Through the war years a great amount of money was used for parcels and milk for Britain, For a goad number of years the Lions ('Iub ,has been responsible for the Baster Seal Campaign, Christmas Seals, the Red Cross Blitz, the Blind, sendinb boys and girls to 11'oodeden Camp, providing eye glasses for needy children, Hallowe'en parties., Christmas. baskets to needy families, and helping with the children's treats aild show at Christmas, the first sec- tion of the .Guide .and Scout House, supplying artific- ial legs to a district boy, and the Lions were .also. responsible for laying the ground work for the South Huron Hospital.
