Quebec demand drives cattle prices higher The market at Brussels Stock- yards traded actively on a good demand at higher prices with interest from Quebec on both cattle and feeder pigs. Cows and pigs sold higher. There were 1213 cattle and 894 pigs on offer. Choice Steers sold from $84 to $88 with sales to $91. Good Steers were $80 to $84. A steer consigned by Mac Willits of RR I, Wingham weighing 1210 lbs. sold for $91 with his offering of 51 steers averaging 1165 lbs. selling for an overall price of $86.95. Fourteen steers consigned by Stewart McCall Ltd. of Walton averaging 1207 lbs. sold for an overall price of $88.13.
