The Arena Board held a Family
• Sakting Party on Saturday night,
January 11 at the Belgrave Com-
munity Centre.
It was a 25 cent night for each of
the following: admission, hot dog
and hot chocolate. There were over
200 in attendance and 15 dozen hot
dogs were consumed.
Everyone enjoyed the evening of
skating.
Harvey Edgar of RR 4, Wingham
was able to return to his home on
Saturday after being a patient in St.
Joseph's Hospital, London.
Mrs. Sara Anderson returned
home on Friday after visiting with
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Schreiber of
Milton and Mrs. George Black and
Miss Hazel Young in Campbell-
vile.
The Citizenship meeting of the
During the month of December,
several groups came out and sang
songs, did skits, visited with
residents and had tea parties at the
Rammeloo Rest Home. It was very
much appreciated by the resi-
dents.
Also Rammeloo residents held a
Christmas party for their families
and although the weather was
Women's Institute will be held on
Tuesday, January 21 at 2 p.m. in
the W.I. Hall, Belgrave. Mr. Roy
Bennett of Wingham will show
slides of Norway, Sweden and
Denmark.
The January meeting of the
Evening Unit ofthe U.C.W. was
held at the home of Mrs. Dorothy
Logan with 17 members present.
The meeting was opened by
Mrs. Robert Grasby. After the
business period, Mrs. Laura John-
ston and Mrs. Clarence Yuill led
the worship service. The program
was given by Mrs. Harold Vincent
assisted by Mrs. Sam Pletch and
Mrs. Dorothy Logan. A social half
hour followed and lunch was
served by Mrs. George Michie and
Mrs. Les Vincent.

Residents bought Kentucky
Fried Chicken and salads and
Rammeloos supplied desserts and
refreshments. After everyone fin-
ished eating, the Christian Re-
formed church Senior Choir sang
some songs and then Rev. Bauman
got all the younger ones together
and sang Christmas carols. It was a
very enjoyable day for everyone.
