Couple lives at Teeswater IRELAND-BROMLEY Betty Jean Bromley and Bevin Michael Ireland were united in marriage on November first in the Teeswater Presbyterian Church. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Rev. Robert Shaw, Betty was given in marriage by her parents, Charlie and Pearl The Christmas meeting of Mell ville W.M.S. was held at the home of Mrs. Gerald Gibson with 11 members and one visitor present. Mrs. MacLeod as president opened the meeting with a poem from Psalm 100: "Make a joyful noise prayer" by Helen Elliott. Mrs. MacLeod is to have the prayer at the Annual meeting of the W.M.S. at the Presbyterial in Wingham. Isabelle Adams read a letter from Ellen Waldock who is a missionary in Zambia and whose parents live in Molesworth. The roll call was answered by Christ- mas verses. The song "His Name is Wonderful" was sung. Several members read about the Christmas story and a carol was sung between each reader. A Bromley of Blyth. Bevin is the son of David and Ina Ireland of RR 2, Teeswater. Attendants for the bride were Matron of Honour, Anita Bromley, sister-in-law of the bride, and bridesmaids were Wanda Ireland, sister of the groom, Melody Ireland, sister of the groom and Julie Bromley, niece of the bride. discussion on Christmas took place. Mrs. MacLeod closed the meeting with prayer. A Christmas lunch was served by Mrs. Martin assisted by the hostess and a social time enjoyed. Amanda Ireland, niece of the groom was the flowergirl. Brent Ireland, brother of the groom was the best man and the ushers were Bruce Bromley, broth- er of the bride, Brad Bromley, brother of the bride and Bill Ireland, brother of the groom. Shawn Bromley, nephew of the bride was the ringbearer. The organist for the ceremony was Marsha Szusz, a friend of the bride. Following the wedding, a reception was held in the Blyth and District Community Centre. Betty and Bevin spent their honeymoon travelling Western Canada and are now residing at RR 2, Teeswater.
