Youth group
formed at
Church of God
A youth group was formed
recently at the Blyth Church of
God, to meet on Friday nights.
Some "older young people"
have become concerned that the
younger ones have opportunity to
have fun times, as well as the
learning times, in a Christian
atmosphere, so have organized a
group of pre-teens, who plan to
enjoy films, bowling, skating,
swimming, etc. together.
A letter to the parents, explain-
ing the program, and asking for
their suggestions and participation
if possible, was sent home with the
children the first night, and each
night they meet, a note will be sent
home advising the parents of the
next week's activities.
