The Bulls were on the road to
Belmont Saturday night for one of
their longest trips of the season to
face the top team of the southern
division.
The first period of play was an
exceptionally good period of hoc-
key. Both teams played super
hockey in fast end-to-end action.
Belmont opened the scoring
with the first two goals of the game.

BY R USTY BLADES
On Tuesday, November 12, the
Blyth novice team travelled to
Clinton and, in one of the most
exciting games witnessed by this
reporter since the Canada-Russia
matchup in the 1984 Canada Cup,
came out on the short end of a 3 - 2
score.
The first period ended with
Clinton ahead 1 - 0. Clinton took a
penalty to start the second period
and it took only 20 seconds to score
a power play goal as Henry Bos
deflected a pass from Mike
Bromley into the net to tie the
game.
However Clinton quickly retal-
iated to regain their lead and held it
into the third period when once
again Blyth tied the score as
hard-working Henry Bos connect-
ed for his second goal of the game
thanks to a beautiful pass from
Mike Bromley.
The third period was fast and
furious with end-to-end rushes by
both teams and Clinton went up
by a 3 - 2 score with less than four
minutes left in the game. Blyth
valiantly tried to even the score but
were continuously turned back by
the Clinton team. Final score
Clinton 3 - Blyth 2.
Great game Kids!!!
On Saturday, November 16, they
travelled to Seaforth and faced
probably the best novice team in
this area. I was unable to witness
this game as I followed my wife's
directions and ended up in Lucan
and couldn't get back to Seaforth
until the games was already over.
By all accounts given to me, the
Seaforth team was simply far
superior in all aspects of the game
on this particular day. The Blyth
players now realize there is still
room for improvement in the team.
Final score: Seaforth 13 - Blyth 0?
This might be a misprint.
Next game is in Blyth on
Wednesday, November 20 at 7
p.m. against Huron Park. For a
great evening of entertainment,
cemeout and cheer our youngsters
on.
