Wingham gets new fire chief Wingham will get a new fire chief beginning Jan. 1.1986 when Deputy Chief Harley Gaunt takes over from Chief Dave Crothers. The vote came after a report of a special search committee of the Wingham and Area Fire Board. The board made the decision to retire Mr. Crothers at the manda- tory retirement age of 65 although he had indicated he wanted to stay on if the by-law was rescinded. He had already been given a one-year extension to allow him to supervise the completion of Wingham's new fire hall. BUSINESS DIRECTORY B&G ELECTRIC Plumbing and Heating Brussels, Ont.
