Centre.

Jason and Paul have recently
purchased the home of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Rath and are
now residents of Beigrave. We
welcome them to the village.

of Hanover visited on Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Nicholson
and Sherri of Barrie.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Codes of
Tavistock held a surprise birthday
party for her mother Mrs. Harvey
Edgar at the latter's home on
Concession 2 of Morris Township
on Friday evening, October 25.

Mrs. Alice Elliott and Mr. and Mrs.

Mrs. Florence Conites will be
moving from Listowel to her new
home at 300 Minnie St., Wingham
on Nov. 2.
This community extends sym-
pathy to Miss Jean McEwen in the
loss of her brother Ross McEwen.
Mr. and Mrs. John Galbraith,
Michael and Kelly of Whitby
visited on the weekend with
her mother Mrs. Olive Campbell
and other relatives.
Sympathy is extended to Mrs.
Charles Robinson and her family in
the loss of a dear husband and
father Mr. Charles Robinson also
to Mr. Robinson's sisters and
brothers.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Higgins of
Stratford spent a couple days last
week with his mother Mrs. Robert
Higgins.

Nancy (nee Anderson) and Rick
Ball of Hanover are pleased to
announce the birth of their daught-
er, Alicia Ann, weighing 7 lbs., 6
oz. on October 26 at the Hanover
and District Hospital. A sister for
Matthew. The proud grandparents
are Mr. and Mrs. Mel Ball of
Goderich and Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Anderson, Belgrave.

London following a long illness. He
was in his 82nd year.
Surviving him is one sister,
Jean McEwen of Belgrave. His
parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert J.
McEwen predeceased him.
Mr. McEwen was a member of
Belgrave Presbyterian church.
The funeral service took place
Oct. 23 from the McBurney

ing of the Belgrave W.I. was held in
the hall, opening with the Ode,
Mary Stewart Collect and 0
Canada.
The president Mrs. Evelyn
James welcomed all and turned the
meeting over to the convenor, Mrs.
Ruth Gordon who introduced the
guest speaker Patti Robertson
from Classic Interiors. A slide
presentation of a variety of room
settings was shown by Patti,
featuring new styles of furniture
and accessories suitable for differ-
ent room setting. She commented
on the use of mirrors, lighting and
colours to add interest to a room
and answered questions about
re-decorating. Ruth thanked her
on behalf of everyone and present-
ed her with a gift.
Funeral Home in Wingham. Rev.
Victor Jamieson officiated. Inter-
ment was in Wingham cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were:
Ross Anderson, Paul McKee, Ross
Proctor, Garner Nicholson, Gra-
ham Anderson and Tom Cameron.
Donations to the Kidney Found-
ation, University Hospital London
are being accepted.
The minutes of the previous
meeting, the financial statement
and correspondence were read by
Mrs. Gladys Van Camp and it was
agreed to cater to the Co-op
Banquet on November 15. The
delegate to the Area Convention in
London on October 30 and 31 will
