Hall Wednesday, October 16. Winners were: high lady, Mrs. Ronnie Coultes; low lady, Mrs. Eva McGill; novelty lady, Mrs. George Drehmann; high man, Wilford Caslick; low man, Mrs. Jim Coultes (playing as a man); novelty man, Mrs. Verena Bone (playing as a man). Officers are: Past President, Mrs. Linda Hopper; President, Mrs. Joanne Culbert; Vice President, Mrs. Debbie Hopper; Secretary, Mrs. Annette Frieburger; Treasur- er, Mrs. Linda Hopper. The club looks forward to another Mr. and Mrs. Glyn Wide, Kimber- ly, Jennifer and Trevor of Hamilton spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Garner Nicholson. Mr. and Mrs. Americo Arruda, Maria and Michelle of Toronto spent the weekend with Mrs. Dorothy Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vincent returned home on Saturday after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Donal Vin- cent, Patrick, Angela and Aaron of Riverview, New Brunswick. Mrs. Agnes Youngblut attended the 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Good of Londesboro. Approximately 350 people attend- ed the official opening of the Morris Township Municipal office and work garage Saturday, October 19. Rev. John G. Roberts of Knox United Church, Belgrave participat- ed in the opening ceremony by dedicating the building. Rev. John G. Roberts was guest speaker for the Anniversary service at Greenway United Church Sunday morning. Professor W. A. Andrews of Toronto was in charge of the service at Calvin-Brick United Church at 10 a.m. and at Knox United Church Belgrave at 11.15 a.m. Miss Joanne Webb and Marjorie Procter of London visited over the weekend with Marjorie's mother Mrs. Elizabeth Procter. Mrs. William Coultes was the speaker at a special U.C.W. service at the Wingham United Church on Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Miculan of Stoney Creek, Mr. Howard Roberts and Miss Colleen O'Hara of Hamil- ton spent Thanksgiving weekend with their parents Rev. and Mrs. John Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rath of Mossley called on their cousins Mr. interesting and successful year. At the September meeting the club donated $25 to the Belgrave Brownie Club. Anyone in Belgrave and sur- rounding area requesting more information about joining the club is asked to contact any of the above members for meeting schedules. New members are most welcome. and Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Stanley Snell and her daughter Mrs. Shirley Guite of London visited on Friday and Saturday with the former's brother Mr. Harold Keating. Mrs. Joyce Pickard and Mrs. Noreen Darling of Whitby spent the weekend with the former's cousin Mrs. Margaret Dunbar. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith of Sudbury visited on Monday, Oct. 14 with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wheel- Dr. and Mrs. Donald Whitfield, Jennifer and Jeffray of Sault Ste. Marie spent Thanksgiving weekend with Mr. and Mrs. George Michie. Sunday visitors at the same home were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Baker and Mark of London; Mr. and Mrs. Norman MacLennan, Caressa, Biscuit makers 4-H club meets The 46 meeting of the Belgrave Club was held October 8 at 7 p.m. in the W.I. Hall. The meeting was opened with the 4-H pledge then the roll call which was "comment on the pie you made at home and what adjustments would you make if you made • it again." The club then split into three groups and made pumpkin cake, chocolate cake and orange cake. While these were baking the girls read over the meeting and discussed their bake sale which is to be held November 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the W.I. Hall. After the members tasted' the orange and pumpkin cakes the meeting was closed with the 4-H motto. Adam and Luke of Kitchener; and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Michie, Chris ' Steven and Lindsay of R.R. 4. Brussels. Mr. and Mrs. John Leppington, Aaron and Adam of Clinton and Mr. George Inglis of R.R. 1, Belgrave were Thanksgiving dinner guests on Sunday with Mrs. Agnes Breman.
