mer pioneer banker in Western
Canada. Rev. A. E. Morrison of-
fieiated and burial was in Stet -
tier Lake View :Cemetery.
Mr. Stettler was born. in Addi-
son, Out., and started his bank-
ing career with the Royal Bank
of Canada in Ontario in. 1906. He
moved to Saskatchewan when
branches of the bank were first
opened in that province.
Mr. Stowell returned to Onta-
rio where, in 1915, he married
the former Margaret Alice Drys-
dale. sister of the late C. AL
Drysdale of :liensall. In 1010 hel
moved to Alberta and served in.
branches of the Royal Bank of
Munson. Erskine and Big Val-
ley. He retired in 1950.

Highlight At Cromarty
The national program for time
C.G.I.T. vesper service was used
for the special Christmas service
on Sunday with Rev. S. Kerr in
charge.
Passages of Scripture were
read by Mildred Howe, Margaret
Wallace, Ilia Scott and Dorothy
Taylor and Mrs. `e. L. Scott
read a Christmas story. Special
musical numbers were contribut-
ed by the choir anti the primary
pupils of the Sunday School.
