Larry Brintnell registered the liat trick" while Andy Ken:ron provided the :other two 'tallies for the winners. Jeff Sonthall and Bill Brady with two goal performances paved the way for the first Eagle victory of the season. It was a hard fought battle with the Mohawks coming out on the short end of a 6-3 score. Single marksmen far the Eagles were Bob Denning and Larry Idle. For the Mohawks, it was Gary P'arsoiis with witit twogoals w single from Richard Macintyre. In the third game, the Ran- gers trounced the Rockets by a seam of 11-4. Led by Peter DeVries with a sparkling five goal performance and the cornined hat -tricks from Jim Carscadden and Donald Wright, the Rangers had little trouble in getting their first win. Rocket goal getters were Jackie Glover with three and Ronnie Broderick with one.
