She was the former Winnifred Keogh, of McGillivray Township, and her husband, the late Joseph Glavin, of Mt. Carmel, died sev- eral years ago. Surviving are two step -daugh- ters, Miss Madeline Glavin, Port Lambton, and Miss Clara Glavin; St. Marys; two step -sons, Rev. Father John Glavin, Owen Sound, and Charles Glavin, MI;. Carmel. The body rested at the T. Harry Hoffman funeral home, Dashwood, until Tuesday when Requiem High Mass was sung at the Church of Our Lady, Mt. Car- mel by Father Kelly and Fathers Basil and John Glavin. Interment was in Mt. Zorn, the questions "Are we wrong in trying to reach other planets?" and "is is possible that people are living on other planets?" were discussed. The pastor stated "Since Scrip- ture does not forbid it, we cannot actually say it is wrong for men to try to reach other planets." Concerning people living on other planets, he said: "If God placed human beings on earth and sus- tained them some 6,000 years, it is not impossible for Him to have done the same on other planets, To our knowledge, however, there is nothing in Holy Scripture even to hint that human life exists on other planets." Following closing devotions with the theme "Set your light on a hill," the social committee served a lunch of coffee, beans and buns.
