Dies In Melfort
Mrs. Percy Windsor, the fox
vier Clara. Maud Simpson. -of
Clandeboye,, died in Mellort,
Sask., on Thursday, October 9
at the age of 72 years.
' She was a daughter •of the late
Richard and Ellen Simpson but,
On the death of her mother when
ahe was three years of age, she
„made her home with Mr. and
,Mrs. David Collins, Clandeboyc.
In 1909 she married Percy
Windsor of •Clandeboye and they
Moved to 'the Melfort distr▪ ict in
1913 where they have .since, re.
I;ided.
Mrs. Windsor was a .member
of Melfort United. .church.
She is survived by .her hes

band; two sons, Garnet ,and
Cecil of Melfort; one daughter
(Eileen) Mrs. Don Gibson, Mel -
fort; two brothers, W. P. Simp-
son, London, Cecil Simpson,
Galt; two sisters, Blanche Simp-
son, Los .Angeles, California and
Mrs. A. R. Dorman, Ailsa
Craig; .and ten grandchildren.
Burial .took' place in Melfort

Rev, Dr. A. E, Duplan of Port
Huron has resigned because of
ill -health after 31 years as rector
of Grace Episcopal church of
that city.
Mr. Duplan as a young man
lived in Centralia and attended
Exeter High School.
Residents of Port Huron since
1926 Dr. and Mrs.'.Duplan •have
moved to Boulder, Colo., so that
he may get complete rest in the
warns climate,
Dr. Duplan gained national
attention recently through an ar-
ticle published in Reader's Di-
gest which attributed to him the
system pf modern tithing which
has been adopted in Episcopal
churches throughout the Country.
