casualty from that district to
die hi combat, August 17, 1941.

Dies In Hospital ,
As a result of a fractured hip
when she fell two weeks ago at
the home of her daughter, Airs.
William Sims, Usborne, Mrs,
Evan Dew died in St. Joseph's
Hospital, London, on Wednesday,
October 22 in her 88th year.
Mrs. Dew was the former
Alice May Mitchell of Tucker -
smith, and following her mar-
riage had lived on the Usborne
farm where her husband died in
1945.
• She is survived by two daugh-
fers, Mrs. Clarence Heywood
(Myra) [Exeter, and Mrs. Wil-
liam Sims (Gladys) Usborne;
two sisters, Mrs. Mary lmrie,
Toronto, Mrs. Blanche Hill, De-
troit; one brother. John Alit-
chell, 1-lensell, three grand-
children and five great-grand-
children.
