Paterson to make gooda deficitof some 890, lieved stolen from the village of- fice last year. Council asked that the money be repaid on or before October 25. - The amount, which is shown as a deficit in the 1957 auditor's report, is believed to have been taken from Mr. Paterson's of- fice along with a pen which was missed at the same time, The pen was later found near a tran- som of the building. Council indicated there was no question of the integrity of the clerk, who has 'held his post for some 30 .years. Council authorized the procla- mation of nemembrance Day, November 11. as a public holi- day and agreed to pay for the cost of a band for the parade. W.
