Girls Travelling
Through Europe
Mr. and Mrs. Laird Mickle re-
eeived word last week that their
daughter, Betty, and her three
girl friends, were in Rome, They
had been to Venice and Florence
and several other interesting
places in Italy.
They are travelling on to the
French Riviera, Monaco, Switz-
erland, and on to Paris where
they are spending four or five
days.
They crossed the English
Channel the second day of Sep-
tember after spending six weeks
in England, Wales and Scotland,
and they drove through the
northern part of France to Bel-
gium where they spent a few
days at the World's Fair, Brus-
sels.
Other countries they travelled
through were Holland, Denmark,
southern part of Sweden, West
Germany and drove along the FEATURE!
Rhine Valley into Austria where
they stayed four days in Vienna
before driving on into Italy.
They will spend almost a week ;
in London, England, before re-
turning to Canada the end of Oc-
tober.
