the inter -club competition, in
which calves are shown in groups
of three, by winning first and
fourth prizes.

first prize group, with leader Gor-
don Hodgins acting as coach,
'Exeter, which last year won the
group class, placed eighth this
year, second from the last.
Judge Alex illcTaggart, of the
Ontario Department of Agricul-
ture, thrnted. the 4-H steers "as
strong a class as yatt will find
anywhere in the province."

harvest operations of this year's
sugar beet crop will get under.

us that the crop is mature and
