Feature of the firm's service
since 1946 -- its variety of food
— will be maintained in its op-
eration. 'Rethers have always
believed that the true test of. a
restaurant's standard, in addi-
tion to quality, is the number of
dishes it offers its patrons, Its
dinner menu, which. changes
daily, offers more variety than
many larger restaurants operat-
ing in bigger communities.
George E, Bether lists four
basic principles to which his
family adheres to for the satis-
faction of customers. "Our ob-
jective has always been to pro-
vide good, expertly cooked food,
in sufficient variety', to suit
every taste, in generous quan-
tities and with quick, service.
That is how we have establishdd.
and maintained our business in
Exeter and that"s how we will
continue to serve our custom-
ers."
In addition to service on the
premises, the firm specializes in
preparing take-out orders, from
lunches to full -course meals.
For several years, Rethers
have operated a second restaur-
ant during the fall at the Cana-
dian National. Exhibition, Toron-
to, Most local people who visit
the CNE make it a point to eat
at Rether's there and the local
restauirant receives many cus-
tomers from out-of-town who
have become familiar with its
service at the CNE.
