Exchange Vows
At Zurich Church
Audrey Kathleen Green and
William Joseph Hess exchanged
wedding vows in a charming
ceremony at St, Peter's Lutheran
Church, Zurich, Saturday, June
7, 1958, at 3 p.m., before the
Rev. Otto Winters, with a floral
background of pink and white
peonies, white carnations, 'mutes
and ferns, in a candelabra
setting.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence S, Green,
Clinton, formerly of Grand Bend,
and the groom, of Woodstock, is
a graduate from the Canadian
School of Embalming, Toronto,
is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Al-
bert G. Hess, Zurich.
Mrs. Fred Haberer was at the
organ console for traditional
wedding music and accompanied
the soloist, Kenneth Flear, of
London, who sang "Because,"
`and "I Love You Truly."
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was lovely in a
formal gown of antique silk and
nylon net over taffeta fashioned
with elongated basque bodice
with embroidered alencon yoke
studded with iridescent sequins
and seed pearls, scalloped
sabrina neckline and long tapered
sleeves. Alencon lace motif out-
lined the .scalloped hipline that
former an apron effect at the
back of the chapel train skirt.
Her bridal bouquet was gar-
denias and lily of the valley,
Her attendants, Miss Kathleen
Hess, of London, as maid or
honor, and Mrs. James C. Wim-
peris, of London, and Miss
Norma Steinbach, of Zurich,
bridesmaids, were gowned in bal-
lerina length pale aqua crystal
charm gowns, featuring elongat-
ed fitted bodice with semi -scoop
neckline, short sleeves, matching
headdress, and carried: white basket.

Daine Adkins, Cromarty, as
flower girl, was (rocked in a
gown of crystal charm styled
with elongated fitted bodice,
semi -scoop neckline, puff sleeves,
white mitts and full gored skirt.
Terry Black, Zurich, was ring
bearer.
Denis Finan, of Sarnia, attend-
ed the groom. James Wimperis,
London, and John Rowell, Wood•
stock, ushered.
For receiving at the reception
held in the 'church parlors, the
bride's mother wore a powder
blue lace dress over taffeta with

Mary Marguerite Murray,
daughter of Mr, and Mrs. James
Murray Ayton, and Joseph Paul
Paukeje, Centralia were united
in marriage by Rev. Father T.
Shoemaker at St. Peter's Roman
Catholic church, Ayton on Sat-
urday, June 7.
The bride chose for her wed-
ding a floor -length gown of hand -
clipped Chantilly lace and nylon
chiffon and net over Duchess
satin, styled with fitted bodice,
short sleeves and scalloped sa-
brine neckline re -embroidered
with iridescent sequins. The bouf-
fant skirt cascaded into a slight
train. A crown of seed ,pearls
and iridescent sequins held her
finger-tip veil of rosepoint illu-
sion. She carried a bouquet of
red roses and white stephanotis.
Her only attendant was her
sister, Miss Dorothy Murray,
London, dressed in a ballerina
length sapphire blue gown.
Frank Gregus, Exeter, was
best man and ushers were Joe
Bodendistle, Kenilworth . and
Steven Rentha, London,
For a wedding trip the bride
changed to a navy sheath with
matching chen.ise coat, white
accessories and corsage of blue
and pink carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Paukeje will live
at Centralia.
