cepted a call to become minister
of Burn's Presbyterian church.

Glasgow University, Scotland,
Came to Canada some tee years
ago and has held charges at

appointed delegate to attend the

Alary Martin, missionary for
prayer. Plans were made to en-

brief meeting of the W.A. for
which several items of interest

Mr. Conrad McRoberts, who
has been on the staff of the
Bank of Montreal for the past
18 months, has been appointed
accountant at Mt. Forest, and
with his wife and 'son, F'aul,
will be leaving Hensall in the
near future.
Mr. McRoberts is a member
of the Kinsmen Club and held
the office of bulletin editor, and
is also a member of Huron
Lodge A.F. & A.M. 224 Hensall,
Mrs. McRoberts is a member
of the Hensall Kinettes and held
the position of bulletin editor.

the home of Mrs, George Beer
Tuesday evening, donated $10.00
to the Cancer Fund, outlined
plans to hold hobo teas amongst
the members for the month of
June and heard highlights of
the Simcoe Inter -Club meeting
presented by Mrs. .Harold Bon-
thron,
Entertainment was in charge
of Mrs. Tony Charrette. Presi-
dent Mrs. John Beal chaired
the meeting and Mrs. Ross Jinks
won the raffle. Mrs. Tony Char-
rette will be hostess at her home
for the next meeting.

Native Of Goshen
Mrs. Jaynes Meelymont, Kip -
pen, died at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Alice Cook,
London, on Wednesday, May 21,
in her 82nd year,
The former Ann Amelia Wag-
ner, she was born on the Goshen
Line, and hat been a resident
of Kippen for 17 years.
Mrs. McClymont was twice
married. !ler first husband' was
David .McClinchey, who died 38
years ago, James McClymont,
predeceased her in 1946.
She was a member of St. An-
drew's United Church, Kippen.
She is survived by five sons,
Orville, Varna; Afelville and
Vernon, Detroit; Royol, Belle
River, and Harvey, Vancouver;
five daughters, (Jennie) Mrs,
Warren Schilbe, Exeter, (Edna)
Mrs, Joe Ducharme, Dashwood,
(Alice) Mrs. Cook, London,
(Florence) Mrs. V. Terryberry,
Cottam, and (Louise) Mrs. It.
Geoghagen; 11. grandchildren,
and 17 great-grandchildren.
The body is resting at the
Bonthron funeral home, 1-ieneall,
where a public funeralservice
will be held on Friday at 2 p.m.
Interment will be In Bayfield
Cemetery.

oldest resident of Hensall. tele.

daughter, Mrs. Robert Dayman,
with whom she resides.
She was hostess to a number
of neighbors and friends who
called to congratulate her.
Mrs. Glazier was the oldest
voter to cast her ballot in the
March 31 and May 12 elections,
walking a distance of four blocks
to the polls to exercise her Iran -
Mdse. She also attended the
Herman WT May meeting Wed•
nesday, and won ' the prize for
the eldest grandmother present,
She likes to eroehetand sew,
and enjoys short walks to visit
her neighbors,
She was born in the Clinton
area and resided there until four
years ago wheat she tame to live
with her daughter.
Her husband. Aden) Glazier,
was a CNA employee in Clinton
before his death.

William and Harold, Clinton;
