'Rev. Donald MacDonald, who b.as been minister of Carmel Presbyterian church, Hensall, for the past three years has ac- cepted a call to become minister of Burn's Presbyterian church. at Mose, near Glencoe. Mr. MacDonald, who came to. Hensall from Tara, graduated at Glasgow University, Scotland, Came to Canada some tee years ago and has held charges at Nova Scotia, Tara and Hensall. A memorial service was held in memory of Mrs. David Chappell, a past presi. i dent and lite member who pass-' ed away. A moment of silence • was observed after which Itev. Chas. D. Daniel led in prayer, concluding with .the singing of a hymn. Mrs, Harold Parker was appointed delegate to attend the school for leaders at Alma Col- lege, Mrs, John Glenn, steward- ship secretary, gave an interest• ing talk on "Let's look at Canad fan Women of Today". Mrs. Daniel offered prayer for Miss Alary Martin, missionary for prayer. Banker Transferred Mr. Conrad McRoberts, who has been on the staff of the Bank of Montreal for the past 18 months, has been appointed accountant at Mt. Forest, and with his wife and 'son, F'aul, will be leaving Hensall in the near future. McClymont Native Of Goshen Mrs. Jaynes Meelymont, Kip - pen, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Cook, London, on Wednesday, May 21, in her 82nd year, The former Ann Amelia Wag- ner, she was born on the Goshen Line, and hat been a resident of Kippen for 17 years.
