HOBBY FAIR EXHIBITORS—Mr. B. Steacy and Mrs. G.
Nicholson were among the exhibitors who displayed their
hobbies at Lucan's first trade and hobby fair last year.
More exhibits are expected for this year's show and the
three-day program is jam-packed with exciting features,
including a parade, simulated radio broadcast, horse races,
music recital, amateurshow and square dancing.
The same evening an amateur
show will be presented, with
children from the district com-
peting for a number of prizes.
Wednesday night's program
willinclude a show by a barber-
shop quartet from . London;
square dancing on the arena
floor; modern dancing in the
auditorium to Derek Knight and
his "Keyotes" who are current-
ly playing at Port Dover's
summer gardens.
A fire engine display, civil
defense educational exhibits, a
stock car challenge are among
the other features planned for
the fair,
The fair is sponsored by
Lucan United
Community Association Nucleus
-- whose officers include Harold
Whyte, chairman; Mrs. A.
Black, secretary, and J. H,
Steacy, treasurer.
The group comprises a num-
ber of•organizations in the.vil-
lage including Business Men,
Legion, School Board, Home and
School, Lions Club, Arena Board,
Women's Institute, Turf Club,
