Completely madeIncatIPOA by sprqmptar LoncIon, 0000 Let Us Repeat We in Huron County are very fortunate. Under the Canada Temperance Act we have no legal liquor outlets, it can still be said, "You just don't see drunks on our streets," as one Who moved into Huron from an L.C.A. county declared. The occasional drunk episode usually originates in a bottle club, bootlegger joint or a tav- ern outside our county, When such incidents are reported to our Crown Attorney, action is taken and punishment follows. So much so that bottle clubs during the past three years have had hard going, and num- hers of them are closed. The law provides for impri- sonment on a second offence, and although liquor money may be found to pay fines, no con- victed bootlegger has ever had any one offer to take over a jail sentence. The C.T.A. is good law. Our local federal member of parlia- ment has shown an interest in the matter of having the act amended to strengthen it. Many c h ur chin en of numerous Churches in Huron, are strongly behind the C.T.A. llllll oitioffito/111,111,111111111i$1111110, Garage Sunday And Evening Service Open this Sunday, Wednes- day afternoon, and during the evening throughout, the week.
