Formula. "A"
Our 1958 standard Formula "A" has boon revised and
improved to conform with the recommendations in
O.A.C, Circular No. 296—"Field Crop Recommenda-
tions for 1958", it varies only to• the extent that we
have added one pound per acre of certified New Zea-
land Permanent Pasture White Clover and some
Oregon Grown Alta. Fescue.
This mixture is adaptable in Regions A-2, B, C and D
and is suitable for a wide range of drainage, Fertility
and grazing management conditions.

Formula 'A-PIus"
The same basic formulation as our Formula "A" except
that such new recommended varieties as—
• VERNAL ALFALFA
• LINCOLN BROME
• CLIMAX TIMOTHY
are used.
Recommended rate of seeding 24 lbs. per acre.
If sown with a nurse crop—a maximum of 1 bushel of Oats
per acre is suggested. Otherwise the addition of 6 lbs, Perera•
niai or Annual Rye Grass is recommended for early cover.
This is a top quality mixture and will compare with
any offered from any other source of supply. We
guarantee that certified seed of named varieties --has
been used exclusively.

Formula "B"
Conforms closely to formulae recommended by leas•
ing authorities and is the result of our own many
years of experience as formulators of adaptable, pro-
ductive and high quality hay and pasture mixtures.
This mixture is suitable throughout southwestern On-
tario for hay and short term pastures.
Recommended rate of seeding 24 lbs. per acre.
This mixtura contains Domestic Rye Grass which will serve
as a� nurse crop if required. Oats at the rate of 1 bushel
per acre may also be added if desired.

Forrnuia "13 -Plus"
The "Plus" features of this mixture are of course,
the new recommended varieties of certified seed which
have been used as substitutes for standard varieties
of Alfalfa, Brame, Timothy and Red Clover.
Formula "B -Plus" contains Vernal Alfalfa, Lincoln
Brome, Climax Timothy and Lasalle Red Clover and
we have rio hesitancy in recommending it as among
the finest hay -pasture mixtures obtainable.
