tialia winners will compete in the RCAF curling tournament at Lethbridge, Alta,, for

were officially crowned winners
of Exeter Ladies' Bowling
League this past week,
7' n Poppettes won the "A"
grouping Dy a four -point margin
over the runner•up Whatnots
who settled for second on 111
points.
Quite a struggle took place in
the "B" grouping between the
Jolly Jilts and Ups and Downs,
who each completed their sea-
son with an even 100 points.
However, the Jills took the nod
over the Ups and Downs on total
pinfall.
Happy Gals ended up with 97
points to hold down third place
In the "A" grouping, while the
Mighty Mice stood third in the
"B" with 92 points:'
Free "'bowling awards for hid-
den scores was spread out be-
tween three bowlers this week,
Mary IL Gunn, of the Lollipops,
took one of the lionotus, while
Joan Parsons, of the Mighty
Mice, and Annie Lawson, of the
,sills, tied for the award in the
"B" group. ,
011ie Essery, of the Whatnots,
captured top honours in the "A"
division for 'the highest average
with a 195. Phyllis Haugh, of the
Pin Poppettes, placed second
with 191, while Dorothy Mumps,
pf the Happy Gals, had 183 for
third place.
Norma Caldwell, the Wee
Hopes representative, took first
class honours in the "B" class
with 186. Right behind her came
Betty Wilson, Mighty Mice;
Pauline Simmons, Jolly Jilts,
and Doris Bonthron, of the
Green Horns, all with a 182
