Harold Bell; Church officers, Mr.. and Mrs: Clarence Volland, Reports heard disclosed a 'good year with all around in• creases in contributions. Rev. Donald MacDonald was chairman, and Percy Campbell was secretary for the meeting. A pork roast supper preceded the meeting, the attendance of 70 was reported as being the best for many years. Personal Items Miss Mary Goodwin spent a few days last week visiting with relatives in London. Miss Patsy Jones underwent an appendix operation in C.iintpn General Hospital on Friday. Miss Marion Desjardine of Exeter visited last week with Mr. and Mrs, Wesley Venner and Murray. Mrs, N. E. Ross Love was appointed as re- presentative to the Presbytery and Conference. Duncan Cooper and William Bell were re -ap- pointed auditors. Bev. MacMil- lan thanked the congregation and organizations for their lo- yalty since his coming to Kip - pen. The retiring stewards arranged the pot luck supper which pre- ceded the meeting. Kinettes Discuss Members' 'Beefs' Mrs. Ross Jinks was hostess on Tuesday evening for the meeting of the Kinettes marked by 100`:• attendance, A new member, Mrs, John Deitz, was welcomed and pre- sented with a Kinette pin by past president, Mrs. Harold Knight, It was beef night and several; subjects were discussed and settled. It was decided to serve lunch after the Exeter -Hensel' Kinsman hockey game, the date; to be announced later, The date for the annual spring rummage sale was set for April 12. The raffle was won by Mrs. Robert Raeburn. Friends Gather On Anniversary On Tuesday evening a num- ber of friends and neighbours gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell Eyre to honor them on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. The evening was spent in playing court whist. Winners for ladies were: Mrs. Campbell Eyre, con- solation, Mrs. Lindsay Eyre; men Tom Consitt and Douglas Eyre, consolation. After all were seated at the lunch table Mrs. Rena Caldwell read a humorous address and the couple were presented with a silver tray, cuff links and tie bar pin.
