various organizations disclosing
a balance on hand. Silent prayer
was held in memory of the late
Air, and Airs. William Alexan-
der.
John A, Cooper, William Cole-
man were elected to serve on
the Board of Stewards for a two
year term, and Leonard Lovell,
Ken AisKay, Keith Love, Jim
McGregor to a three year term.
Ross Love was appointed as re-
presentative to the Presbytery
and Conference. Duncan Cooper
and William Bell were re -ap-
pointed auditors. Bev. MacMil-
lan thanked the congregation
and organizations for their lo-
yalty since his coming to Kip -
pen.
The retiring stewards arranged
the pot luck supper which pre-
ceded the meeting.

Members' 'Beefs'
Mrs. Ross Jinks was hostess
on Tuesday evening for the
meeting of the Kinettes marked
by 100`:• attendance,

Deitz, was welcomed and pre-
sented with a Kinette pin by
past president, Mrs. Harold
Knight,
It was beef night and several;
subjects were discussed and
settled. It was decided to serve
lunch after the Exeter -Hensel'
Kinsman hockey game, the date;
to be announced later, The date
for the annual spring rummage
sale was set for April 12.
The raffle was won by Mrs.
Robert Raeburn.
The next meeting will be held
at the home of Mrs. Harold
Knight on February

day. Mr. William Perry, a stu-
dent at Waterloo College, ocu-

Friends Gather
On Anniversary
On Tuesday evening a num-
ber of friends and neighbours
gathered at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Campbell Eyre to honor
them on the occasion of their
25th wedding anniversary. The
evening was spent in playing
court whist. Winners for ladies
were: Mrs. Campbell Eyre, con-
solation, Mrs. Lindsay Eyre; men
Tom Consitt and Douglas Eyre,
consolation.
After all were seated at the
lunch table Mrs. Rena Caldwell
read a humorous address and the
couple were presented with a
silver tray, cuff links and tie
bar pin.
During the evening Mervyn
Eyre showed slides taken on
recent wedding occasions,
