On Saturday evening the con-
gregational supper and vestry
meeting was held in the Parish
Hall at St. Patrick's church,
Rev. P. Dymond was in 'charge
of the meeting. He asked Mr.
James Barker to be his warden
and Mr. Hugh Davis was elected
peoples' warden and Mrs. Hugh
Davis secretary -treasurer.
Other appointments were: Mr.
Lorne Weiburg delegate to the
Synod with Mr, Tom Kooy as
substitute; Mrs. Tom Kooy, pi-
anist; Mr. Harry Carroll, fire-
man; .Mrs, Harry Carroll and
Mrs. Heber Davis were added to
the board of management; Mr,
Earl Atkinson, vestry clerk; Mr,
Clarence Davis, auditor,
At the close of the meeting
Mr. Heber Davis moved a vote,
of thanks to the ladies of the
congregation and made a mo-
tion, which was carried, that
the supper and vestry meeting
be held ygearly,

On Tuesday, Jan. 14 the ladies
of St. Patrick's church held a
quilting and pot luck dinner at
the home of Mrs. L. Weiburg,
A short devotional. period was
held with Mrs. Harry Carroll,
Guild president in charge. A
business meeting followed With
Mrs, Haugh Davis winner of a
mystery prize.

boll and dance was held in the
Lucan Arena for Mr, and Mrs.
